Our designs are crafted in the highlands of Peru by specialized embroidery studios that we have selected for the precision of their hand embroidery. With wool, this precision is evident in the tension of the stitches. Each embroidery technique requires its own specific tension to ensure that the motifs lie tightly along the entire length of the belt, creating a velvety, three-dimensional depth without distorting the belt. This balance cannot be measured; it relies solely on the feel of the hand. It takes up to a week to complete a single belt.

Sheep's wool is naturally dirt-repellent and odor-neutralizing. If necessary, we recommend gentle hand washing with mild baby shampoo and lukewarm water.
