Our designs are crafted in the highlands of Peru by specialized embroidery studios that we have selected for the precision of their hand embroidery. With wool, this precision is evident in the tension of the stitches. Each embroidery technique requires its own specific tension to ensure that the motifs lie tightly along the entire length of the belt, creating a velvety, three-dimensional depth without distorting the belt. This balance cannot be measured; it relies solely on the feel of the hand. It takes up to a week to complete a single belt.
Routinepflege: Peruanische Hochlandwolle ist von Natur aus schmutzabweisend und besitzt eine hohe Selbstreinigungskraft. Durch einfaches Auslüften an frischer Luft regeneriert sich die Faser vollständig. Eine Wäsche ist in der Regel nicht erforderlich.
Reinigung im Ausnahmefall: Bei Bedarf eine behutsame Handwäsche in lauwarmem Wasser mit Spezial-Wollbalsam durchführen. Dabei das Material nur sanft bewegen, ohne zu reiben oder zu wringen.
Trocknung: Überschüssiges Wasser vorsichtig in einem Handtuch ausdrücken. Liegend und geschützt vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung trocknen, um Form und Farbpigmente dauerhaft zu bewahren.
