Each embroidery technique requires its own specific tension to ensure that the motifs lie tightly along the entire length of the belt, creating a velvety, three-dimensional depth without distorting the belt. This balance cannot be measured; it relies solely on the feel of the hand. It takes up to a week to complete a single belt.
